Last night, Iris Mishra, Kaylee Hobbs, Brooklynn Fuller, and Sadie Jackson auditioned for the All-District bands. Iris Mishra was selected 4th Chair Honorable Mention Bass Clarinet and Sadie Jackson was selected 10th Chair Honorable Mention Clarinet. We are so proud of our tigers
The Junior High basketball games between Scotland County and Putnam County, scheduled for Friday, November 11, have been rescheduled. We will now play on Tuesday, December 6.

On Saturday, November 5, Quinton Shaffer, Kennady Sapp & Sadie Jackson performed with the All-District Choir in Moberly, MO. These students practiced music all day and performed a concert that evening. They were selected to the choir through an audition on September 17.
We are so proud of our Singing Tigers!
The October students of the month were: Back row- Riley Small, Eric Mohr, Owen Triplett, Aaron McDaniel, Gage Graham, Jackson Siegfried, and Julian Valle. Front row- Payton Miller, Izabelle Lucas, Zada Ketchum, Rebekah Osborn, Austin Ambrose, and Sean Schroeder.

Thank you to Keith’s Cafe for the gift certificates for the students of the month, and Scotland County Pharmacy for the gift certificate for employee of the month.
There are several pieces of clothing in the lost and found in front of the high school office. By the end of next week we will donate the items to the cloths closet. Feel free to stop in and look for items if your child has some missing.

On 10/28 the 8th grade students attended a career exploration day at IHCC. They chose three career areas to learn more about.
On 10/21 students in grades 7-12 had the opportunity to attend the Teachers Matter: Become One conference at Truman State University. They also had the chance to meet the 2022 Missouri Teacher of the year James Young.
Just another reminder that our 1st quarter Honor Roll Assembly is today at 2:15 for 3rd and 4th graders with 5th & 6th graders to follow at approximately 2:45. K-2 will receive their Continuous Character Awards during guidance time in the classroom.
Scotland County would like to wish our Lewis and Clark Conference family member the Marceline Tigers softball team the best of luck as they travel to the final four this weekend!!
