Charlee Holland, competing today in the long jump, narrowly missed qualifying for state with a jump of 4.83 meters (5th place). The top four finishers qualify. Chuck, great run. Can't wait to see what your junior season holds.

As is the case annually, Scotland County is one of the smallest schools competing in Class 2 Track and Field. Of the 115 schools comprising Class 2, only 3 schools have a smaller enrollment. Despite the considerable enrollment gap, the following track athletes qualified for the Class 2 Sectional 2 meet next weekend at South Callaway High School. Congratulations, Scotland County Track and Field on an outstanding season. K. Hamlin - 1st (100) K. Hamlin - 2nd (200) K. Hamlin - 4th (High Jump) C. Holland - 4th (Long Jump) Honorable Mention: Although just short of qualifying for sectionals (5th place), the 4x100 meter relay team of E. Anders, C. Holland, D. McKinney, and K. Hamlin broke the school record today with a time of 53.86 seconds.
