It's Softball Game Day! 🥎
The Lady Tigers host Novinger at 5:00 p.m. We hope to see you there! #gotigers

Things you love to see in the hallways almost everyday. Officer Bill Holland is a routine visitor at Scotland County Schools and he is often greeted with hugs from our elementary students. We are very fortunate of local law enforcement and their presence in our buildings.

The softball games at the Brashear Softball Cluster have been postponed.

Big thanks to Wamco and Kevin Fromm for donating a mat for the football team to walk across the track on as they move from the practice field to the game field!!

Thanks to Chuck Kiger and his CCE employee Veronica Lucas for doing a presentation, in Mr. Lucas’ Careers class, over the I.T. career field. The students got some hands on experience hooking up a camera.

Varsity football players will be at the elementary gym in the morning from 7:30 to 7:55 signing autographs for any elementary student who would like one. Go Tigers!!

Mr. Anderson's class was using paper airplanes to test the scientific method!! Awesome activity that had lots of smiles and engagement from
the students!

Congrats to Colin Hatfield for earning the blue collar award for week 1 of regular season. This award is earned by an individual who shows up everyday and goes to work no matter what the circumstances are to better himself and his Tiger football family!!!

The temperature is forecasted to reach 95 degrees tomorrow afternoon. With the high temperature, a decision has been made, in conjunction with Clark County administration, to delay the start of tomorrow night's contest to 8:00. I understand this decision isn’t ideal, but player safety is, and will remain, our top priority. Please understand that your flexibility is appreciated.

A special thank you to April Wilson for coming into Mr. Lucas’ Careers class to talk with the students about her career as a Lawyer.

Thank you to Mike and Beth Johnson and everyone at Pepsi for the donation of bottled water for all of our students today. They will be handing out water to each student as they dismiss school today. Thank you so much for your generosity. #tigerpride

Special thanks to Scotland County Memorial Hospital for donating 2 medical bags to the SCR-1 football program. This will allow the team to carry medical supplies in an organized and centralized location to ensure speedy response to student-athletes needs!!!
