On Saturday March 18, Scotland County hosted the 54th annual Scotland County Invitational Scholar Bowl Tournament. The tournament contained 16 HS teams and 10 JH teams. We would like to show our deepest appreciation for the 50+ volunteers for working the tournament. The Scotland Varsity squad went 5-3 on the day earning 7th place. The JV team went 4-4 earning 13th place. Hallsville defeated Schuyler to claim the Barbara Campbell Trophy. The JH squad went 4-2 on the day earning 2nd place. Cohen Small was named captain of the JH All-Tournament team. Hallsville claimed the Sam Berkowitz trophy. Scotland County Spring Book Fair is this Tuesday through Friday in the elementary library. Hours will be 7 am until 6 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
